Partyzant

I had opportunity to meet my brother last time. It is not so common - we has been living in different cities and our contact are no so often. I grabbed an opportunity and I took some photos.

Lisbon Story

I am still returning to my vacation in Portugal. I have watched "Lisbon Story"  - Wim Wenders film about ... yes, it is question - what is this film about ? Definitely about Lisboa - Lisboa from 1994 year.

This film is little bit dull, little bit magic, little bit - almost from different world. I think people who was

in Lisboa can understand this film in different way than people who haven't been yet in this town.

I went to Lisboa during this vacation - for me it s very interesting film with very emotional music - Madredeus - so I can recommend it ...

A Pencil In the Hand Of God

Gliczarów 2011

I was ill last week so had more times to look through photos from Gliczarów and did some work in Lightroom . Below next three photos.

I had an opportunity to participate in photo workshop in Gliczarów. It is very nice place near Zakopane and it was my second time to participate in workshop here. First time (in June) workshop was dedicated landmark photography, this time it was photography with model on location. Weather was marvelous, our model Dagmara wonderful, our guru - Andrzej Frankowski - superb. To sum up - it was very interesting trip with opportunity to learn a lot from Andrzej.

Autumn has begun

Nice weather – still like summer even though officially autumn has begun.  It is the best time to go to Tatra Mountains or Bieszczady.  

Fado - songs about live, love, hate and passion

During visiting Lisbon I heard many times and in different places fado music - in restaurants, on streets, on squares. Fado is inseparable connected with Portugal, especially with Lisbon. The most famous fado singer was Amalia Rodrigues - I recommend to watch film about her and her music "Amalia - Królowa Fado"

The famous fado singer currently is Mariza. She was born in Mozambique, at 3 her family moved to Portugal and she was brought up in historic district of Lisbon - Mouraria and Alfama. I bought her CD "Fado Tradictional" lately - if someone likes fado music I recommend to buy this CD.

I like hearing fado and drink glass of port wine I brought from Porto.
