X Mazurskie Spotkania z Fotografią
In April (some time has passed), again just like last year, I took part in very exciting photography
workshop in very nice place of Masuria region - Piasutno-Łęg in the Puszcza Piska Forest.

Tirol 2014 - part 2
One of the
main attractions of the valley is the Pitztal underground funicular, which
takes passengers from Mittelberg (1736 m) to Mittelbergferner mountain
(3570 m). It’s Pitztaler Gletsther Express – the journey took us 6
minutes, after change on 2840m we continued by cable railway named
Wildspitzbahn
to the highest Cafe in Austria on 3.440 m.
The highest peak of Tirol Wildspitze (3.774 m) is ahead of you …You can
see a marvelous panorama of the Alps from special observation deck.

The second
half of day we spent in Kaunertal National Park. I’ll
remember the Kaunertal Gletscherstrasse (glacier road) - the journey by car started at 1400m and ended
at the border of the perennial ice region at 2.750 m. !!! A lot of switchbacks, narrow road and
continually slope up …
At the and
of the road you have an opportunity to visit the glacier - Kaunertal. It was
the second glacier this day – but this time we could see creavasse.

We used cable
railway and reached 3100m – oops – it is Italy/Austria border here :) and marvelous panorama view around
…you could see Switzerland through special telescope.

Second part of vacation we spent in Pitztal - an alpine
valley located in Tyrol, Austria. Our hotel Alpina was situated in nice village Wenns.

It’s 3 hours trip – partly in the clouds, the weather was
changing during the whole day.
At the evening we used sauna and ate delicious dinner (5
disches) …marvellous time :)
The next trip – we were driving 28km by car to Mandarfen and farther by cable
railway to Sunna Alm. We made 4 hours trip to Plodersee lake – the weather was
very nice … from time to time we met snow on the path, around is above 27
degrees.
